Read The Para-Real Manifesto

Between the digital realm and our physical world is a third space — hybrid, ephemeral and poorly understood. For decades, this in-between space has influenced the digitised society unseen. We call it the Para-Real, an emotional and transformative state that emerges when the electronic and the real collide, and — just for a moment — creates a space that can only exist at the exact second where platforms and atoms operate in absolute parallel. The para-real occurs inside this time-space, a form of perception and interface de-realisation whose boundaries can no longer be perceived—and whose affects are longer separated.

Dans le cadre d’une séquence sur le harcèlement scolaire , les élèves de 4ème ont réalisé un travail collaboratif consistant à créer des « Videopoemas » pour lutter contre le harcèlement scolaire. La vidéo-poésie est un genre poétique sur écran, une poésie visuelle et cinétique qui utilise toutes les possibilités offertes par l’art vidéo. C’ est un genre hybride à la frontière de la vidéo d’art, du cinéma et de la littérature. Les vidéopoèmes sont des courts-métrages qui permettent à l’image, le son et le texte de se rencontrer.
