Initial Problem:
I ordered a GH-0805 All axle hub motor from Grin Tech. Even though I stated in multiple emails that this was to be put on the front of a fat bike, still a GH-0805 that had power supply cord insulation appropriate for a regular width tyre bike arrived. Due to a fat bike's fork is wider, thus a spacer must be used thus causing the thicker insulation down the wire to be at a spot which is too tight. This in turn causes friction between the power supply cord and the disc rotor revolving on its outside resulting in a torn exposed insulation of the power supply cord.

Peter, Mr. Fix-It was able to help me when I called Grin, and he said to take the following action:

1. Strip section of cord that is experiencing friction with the inner rim of the disc rotor. Use of flush cutters are suggested.
2. See if you can re-insulate (with heat shrink) in a way so that the inner rim of the rotor disc won't cut/tangle the power supply/sensor wires within main power cord.
