The TA2 cars had a practice, and then the feature race was immediately afterwards. I think some of the cars in practice ended up in the race, but not certain. Looking at the schedule, the racing should have been the TA/XGT/SGT/GT feature.

The second qualifying of the day. Lots of cool old purpose-built race cars. The one in the thumbnail is probably my favorite of these guys, a 1974 Lola T332, driven by Paul Zazryn.

Back to more of my style cars. Love seeing the Datsuns. Though, I'd say I'm biased. My favorite on this run was obviously the Datsun SRL 311 with Thomas Phelan in the seat.

We've reached the end of the day. The TA2 class had qualifying. These cars are pretty cool in that they breathe fire as they coast. Other than that, they're basically just stock car racing.

I was starting to get the hang of the manual focus on the camera. You can tell in these shots where finally, the cars were in focus while the fence, clearly closer, is not.

This race had a great selection of vintage racers. Lots of Datsun love. I particularly enjoyed the 240Z that Christopher Zappa was in. That paint scheme is just perfect for those cars.

If you like Porsches, this IGT group is about the best you'll find. They all look the same to me... You still have that random Ferrari in the pack though!

The next group of cars in qualifying for the days races was group 10. Sort of. A #40 Porsche was out as well. The name on the windshield isn't in the list of racers, nor is the number, so who knows? Maybe a late entry or something.
