The Sixth International InterLaboratory Measurement Study - How, what, when
Reliable and repeatable measurement is a key component of all engineering disciplines. Through previous InterLab studies, the Engineering Committee – with the help of many iGEM teams – has developed a robust measurement procedure for green fluorescent protein (GFP) and for cell density measurements. This year, we will extend our calibration from a one-color calibration (green) to multi-color calibrations (green-red-blue)!
In this webinar we will give an introduction into the purpose and outcomes of the Interlab study series as well as detailed instructions on how to participate and complete the 2022 Interlab study.
Join us in making synthetic biology measurements more reliable and interchangeable!
What Is Privacy?
This video is a high level overview of why privacy is important. Privacy ensures that democracy is possible by allowing citizens to have safe spaces to discuss ideas, grow, and learn. PI investigates the secret world of government surveillance and exposes the companies enabling it and litigate to ensure that surveillance is consistent with the rule of law. We advocate for strong national, regional, and international laws that protect privacy. We conduct research to catalyse policy change. We raise awareness about technologies and laws that place privacy at risk, to ensure that the public is informed and engaged. To ensure that this right is universally respected, we strengthen the capacity of our partners in developing countries and work with international organisations to protect the most vulnerable.
