What is Politics?

Politics is the only practical discipline where none of the main terms have any clear consensus definitions. Scholars write entire books about things like capitalism, markets, socialism, government, democracy, politics, the left and right, without defining them, or really knowing what they’re talking about.

When such fundamental words have no meaning they can be manipulated by powerful people to pit potential allies against eachother, and to align people with their actual enemies, on top of making everyone generally more confused and apathetic than they would be otherwise.

If this was the situation in architecture or engineering we’d have buildings crashing down all around us. And this is exactly what’s happening in politics today.

The point of this podcast/youtube channel is make sense of all of this muddle so that we can all understand what’s going on all around us and figure what it is that we want when it comes to politics, and how we can achieve it.

Video Guides

As a media platform, Konfront is both a voice for the autonomous underground, and also a tool for knowledge sharing and inspiration.

In our new video series Konfront Videoguides we try to make small guides and create ideas for direct action and activism. Whether it's about how to spread your message on the street or how to structure a good meeting with a flat structure.

We hope to inspire and help affinity groups, individuals who want to make trouble or give new ideas to people who are already fighting for a better world.

Write to us
We welcome ideas, tips and criticism, so write to for Konfront if your group would like to tell us how you make good banner drops or organize the cool street party!

NRK Newton - Pubertet

Newton is a science programme for children and young people. The target group is from 8 to 12 years, that is to say children who have either entered puberty or are about to.

In the series about puberty we convey openly and frankly what happens to the body in the transition from child to adult. How the skeleton grows, why girls bleed, about spots and blushing and involuntary ejaculations. What happens to breasts and sexual organs, how the voice changes and how emotions are in turmoil. In short, how the human body grows and changes from child to adult in order to make babies.

3. The Maker

The maker grasps humankind as builders. We make new constructions with building blocks from nature, which we manipulate at the same time. We will see how that leads us to new materials, new connections between people and new bursts of creativity. Will we be able to build everything we wish for?

Self-Organising System (SOS)

The XR UK Self-Organising System (SOS) defines how we organise, communicate and make decisions. It sets out how we distribute decisions about how we organise, allowing us to reflect our values and leave behind ways of working that reproduce injustices and emotional pain in society.

Songs Mathilda Taught Me

Mathilda is a unique ukulele. She’s a flat-body five-string soprano who has travelled all around Germany since 2013, visiting many ukulele players’ homes.

Choan Gálvez got hold of her in December, 2023, and after some doodling, Mathilda soon revealed some of the songs she had within.

This is how Songs Mathilda Taught Me: Four waltzes and a polka, a collection agnostic of your favourite fourth-string octave, was created: the arrangements in this book work great on low-g, high-g, and doubled-course instruments.

Regarding the required technical abilities, the waltzes are ready to enjoy even by unexperienced fingerpickers, while the polka presents challenges that make it interesting for performers of every level.
