Out of the Blue – From the Provisional to Improvisation

The symposium “Out of the Blue” created the framework for a cross-disciplinary dialogue between art and society. The aim was to draw attention to the characteristic features of improvisation or provisional activity, to define them more clearly and to make them visible for everyone in the sense of a generally applicable strategy for Action.

L’Institut Supérieur d’Ingénieurs-Animateurs Territoriaux (ISIAT) constitue un pôle bordelais de formations, d’actions et de recherches sur la professionnalisation dans les champs de l’animation sociale et culturelle. A cet effet, à l’intérieur de l’Institut Universitaire de Technologie Michel de Montaigne (Université de Bordeaux 3), il regroupe un ensemble d’enseignants-chercheurs issus de nombreuses disciplines (aménagement, anthropologie, ethnologie, géographie, sciences de l’éducation, sociologie, etc.) autour des enjeux que représente le secteur professionnel de l’animation.
