What the Loop

A two-year project to create a party app to produce fun stop-motion selfies with friends.

The app works as a mirror in which you can draw loops with your finger. Each loop is to be followed by the body part you choose: your hand, your nose, a shoulder… When the recording phase is started you have a few seconds to move your body trying to match the chosen body part with a dot on the screen. After 30 images are captured, the loop is ready to be shared with friends.

Developed in openFrameworks (C++) for iOS and Linux by Mei-Fang Liau and Abe Pazos. Currently not on any app store.
