In the otherwise tranquil city of Klagenfurt am Wörthersee—famous for its charming lakeside beauty, clean streets, and people who generally mind their business—there emerged, from the cracks in the pavement or perhaps a forgotten art school basement, a man named Aki Streeter. Or Adam. Or Groovyaki. Or Hel’met. He switches names the way most people switch socks, assuming he wears those.

Aki Streeter is what happens when experimental punk, questionable philosophy, and sheer defiance of structure collide head-on in a blaze of distortion pedals, sweaty venues, and, occasionally, pineapples. Yes—pineapples. You see, Streeter is an outspoken proponent of the theory that the universe was created by a guy named Dave... on a laptop... while eating a pineapple. And somehow, people let him talk into microphones.

He’s been in bands with names like Misanthropic Planet, Heimwerker, Klismaphilia, ...
