Interfacer Project

🏙️ Digital infrastructure for Fab Cities

While the global movement around fab cities, fab labs and the maker scene is growing, there is a digital infrastructure missing enabling a data-based circular economy on both the global and local sphere.

The interfacer team worked for addressing the need of this new infrastructure and proposes now an initial application of an open source software stack called Fab City OS.

Fab city is an innovative urban model that re-localises production to the city and its bioregional context, by empowering communities with the technology to build their own sustainable, innovative and regenerative urban futures.

Lunatics Project: Timelapse Screencasts

These are timelapse (usually 60X -- 1 sec = 1 min, 1 min = 1 hour) screencasts of (mostly) production and development work set to music from our CC By-SA, CC-By, CC-0/PD music soundtrack library.

I mainly make these videos for self-management reasons. It's a very easy way to tally how much time I spend on different sorts of tasks each month, using the Kdenlive timeline of my "worklog" screencasts (I use FFMPEG to capture my screen once a second while working).

The video itself is not technically necessary, but it's kind of chill, the music is nice, and I find it good for my morale to have a record of the work I put in.

So far, anyway, these are all Terry Hancock's worklogs.

RECOVERY PROJECT

We here at the RECOVERY PROJECT seek out lost content, so it can finally be brought for the world to see.

Lunatics Project: Work in Progress

These are shots and sequences, as they are being worked on.

May have SPOILERS for the episode.

This channel is for those who want to see our process and check our progress, and who don't really care about the spoilers. It may get repetitive, as I have to iterate through the same shots and sequences a lot to fix problems.
