Net Aesthetics 2.0

Net Aesthetics 2.0 was a part of Rhizome's New Silent Series at the New Museum that examined the state of contemporary art engaged with internet art.

Convening leading artists, critics and curators, the program explored salient topics such as the relationship of artists emerging now to the first generation of internet art, the correspondence between online art and offline exhibition (as well as the phenomenon of "internet aware" art), the current role of the artist on the internet, the position of explicit political content in internet art (and the question of whether internet art practice is undergoing a more "formalist" phase), among other directions and challenges faced by this expansive field.

Open Score: The State of Art & Technology

Open Score was an annual symposium that explored the state of art and technology. Convening luminary artists, curators, researchers, and writers to discuss how technology is transforming culture, the first edition of Open Score considered how artists responded to new conditions of surveillance and hypervisibility; how social media’s mass creativity interfaced with branding and identity for individual artists; how the quality and texture of art criticism evolved in a digital age; and what the future of internet art might be in light of a broader assimilation of digital technologies.

Supported by the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation, Open Score: Art and Technology 2016 marked the fiftieth anniversary of the groundbreaking initiative Experiments in Art and Technology. The conference’s title was taken from Rauschenberg’s live performance Open Score during one of E.A.T.’s most iconic events, "9 Evenings: Theatre and Engineering."

The mixes take inspiration from the things around him and the mix style is different from what you usually hear. More in your face and more frantic that most mixes, it leads you on a journey somewhere else. He use to dj under the name of Adrenalin Rush in and around the South west of England and Wales on Vinyl believe it or not but gave it up when he moved to London. Djing on laptops was the name of the game then and he gained a regular spot on a Miami based internet radio station before it got shut down in 2005.
